The QAEA Councils

Decision-making and operational bodies serving our community

The Québec Anthropomorphic Events Association (QAEA) is founded on collaborative structures that ensure its governance, transparency, and dynamism. The Councils of the QAEA bring together elected or mandated individuals to guide the association in its strategic orientations, daily operations, and community commitments.

This organizational framework is defined by the regulation on the rules of procedure of the Board of Directors, adopted during the Constitution Council meeting on December 7, 2023, by resolution No. CC-AEAQ-2312-01. This regulation came into effect on January 1, 2024, following the official publication of a public notice, and now serves as the legal and associative reference for all decision-making processes of the QAEA.

Board of Directors (BoD)

The Board of Directors is the governing body of the QAEA. It defines the overall direction, oversees finances, appoints key personnel and ensures the quality of events.

Description of the tasks of the Board of Directors:

The President embodies the voice and vision of the QAEA, guiding decision-making bodies with transparency, inclusivity and associative rigor.

The General Manager of Operations coordinates the activities of the QAEA and ensures the implementation of the decisions of the board of directors. He/She ensures the smooth transition between the strategic vision and the concrete actions of the association.

Executive Committee (EC)

The Executive Committee ensures the operational coordination of the association. It implements the decisions of the Board of Directors and ensures the smooth running of projects and activities.

The members will be announced soon.

Description of the tasks of the Executive Committee:

Working groups and supplementary committees

Beyond the official bodies of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee, the QAEA recognizes the importance of the active and diverse participation of its members. This is why the association may create thematic working groups or supplementary committees, depending on needs and ongoing projects.

These collaborative spaces allow us to:

  • Address specific or emerging issues
  • Explore new ideas or community initiatives
  • Involve more members in the association's activities
  • Strengthen the organization's collective expertise and creativity

Whether it's security, translation, regional mobilization, or festive events, each group is formed with a clear mandate, an appropriate duration, and an openness to volunteer contributions.

👉 If you have an idea, a skill to offer, or simply the desire to get involved, don't hesitate to contact us. The QAEA thrives thanks to you.
